The US is Home to 700k+ Religious, Educational, and Human Service Centers

The U.S. is home to roughly 350K religious, 261K educational, 160K human services, 134K arts and culture, and 66K public-society benefit nonprofit organizations as of 2025.

Bequest Giving is Up in The US

Bequest giving rose nearly 20% in 2025 (16.6% adjusted for inflation), the largest increase of any of the four sources of giving, with eight of nine recipient subsectors growing in current dollars.
