Why personalization matters

Higher conversion, stronger engagement, faster iteration.

Content. One turns content into context-aware experiences that adapt to user intent, channel, and location—boosting performance across every touchpoint.

Higher conversion

Show the most relevant offer, hero, or CTA for each visitor.

Stronger engagement

Reduce bounce and increase time on page with content that fits.

Faster iteration

Launch, test, and learn without long roadmaps or vendor sprawl.

How it works

Content. One pairs your content models with audience rules, signals, and lightweight AI.

Audience rules, content variants, real-time decisioning, and AI assist render the best-fit experience at request time.

01

Audience rules

Segment by UTM, referrer, device, location, language, visit history, campaign, or custom traits.

02

Content variants

Create multiple versions of hero blocks, headlines, CTAs, or pricing modules and map them to segments.

03

Real-time decisioning

Server-side logic chooses the right variant per request for speed, SEO, and clear analytics.

04

AI assist

Generate on-brand copy suggestions and tone tweaks per audience, then approve with one click.

05

Preview & share links

Impersonate a segment to QA experiences and share read-only previews before publishing.

06

Governed workflows

Role-based approvals ensure the right people can create segments, launch tests, and publish variants.

Use the signals you already have

Content. One accepts zero/first-party, contextual, campaign, and optional commerce/CRM signals—while honoring your data governance.

  • Zero/First-party: Form responses, quiz outcomes, preferences, on-site behavior.
  • Contextual: Geolocation, language, device type, time-of-day, entry page, referrer.
  • Campaign: UTM parameters, ad group, organic vs. paid, email links.
  • Commerce/CRM: Integrate customer tags or lifecycle stages via API when needed.

Server-side variants keep pages fast and crawlable

Edge caching by segment, clean markup, and consistent analytics ensure personalization doesn’t sacrifice speed or measurement.

  • Edge caching by segment prevents leaks while preserving speed.
  • No client-side flicker—variants render server-side for Core Web Vitals.
  • Analytics label exposures and conversions clearly for each variant.

Testing & optimization built in

Experimentation lets you validate impact and scale winners fast.

A/B & multi-variant tests

Split traffic evenly or weight distribution per variant.

Goals & events

Choose KPIs such as clicks, form submits, or purchases.

Automated summaries

Digest performance by audience and variant.

One-click promote

Roll winning variants into the default experience.

Governance, privacy & control

Respect for users and compliance is built into Content. One personalization.

  • Consent-aware: Honor consent states and degrade gracefully to contextual rules when needed.
  • Role-based access: Limit who can create segments, launch tests, or publish variants.
  • Audit trails: Track who changed what and when for each variant and rule.
  • Data minimization: Use only necessary signals; integrate securely when passing identifiers.

Common use cases

  • Geo-aware offers: Show regional pricing, inventory, or shipping timelines.
  • Lifecycle messaging: Swap CTAs for new vs. returning visitors or CRM stage.
  • Campaign continuity: Align landing page hero with ad creative via UTM rules.
  • Industry personas: Tailor case studies, logos, and benefits for each vertical.
  • Language preference: Auto-serve copy and media for the user’s preferred language.

Benefits for marketing & business teams

  • Revenue impact: More conversions from the same traffic with relevance-driven experiences.
  • Team velocity: Marketers ship variations without waiting on dev cycles.
  • Consistent brand: Component-level guardrails keep design and tone on-brand.
  • Lower tooling costs: Replace multiple point solutions with native capabilities.

Getting started

  1. Define segments: Start with simple rules (location, device, UTM) and add custom traits over time.
  2. Create variants: Add targeted copy, imagery, and CTAs to the components that matter most.
  3. Preview & QA: Use segment preview links to validate experiences end-to-end.
  4. Publish & measure: Launch variants, track goals, and iterate based on automated summaries.

Flexible, feature-rich, dependable CMS
I find it as enjoyable to use as a CMS can be. There was some learning curve but once comfortable with the environment it's a powerful and easy platform. The CMS is extremely flexible, allowing for a variety of ways to approach tasks. Some useful features that are normally add-ons are built in, like LESS/SASS compiling, Google Tag Manager integration etc. The Parsley template language is intuitive and well-documented. Caching is built in making for quick page serving even if the underlying queries are processing-intensive. Flexible, feature-rich, dependable CMS Drew S.

Solid CMS with a great support team
Flexibility - Content. One isn't super opinionated about how you should structure your project, which means you have full control over how to organize data. Content. One helped us build several projects which required advanced wildcard routing and tokenized content. Solid CMS with a great support team Andrew M.

Content.One vs WordPress
While the cost is a little more - it is so worth it. I never have to do software or database updates. I never have to worry that my site is down. The speed of page delivery beats every single configuration you can hope to do with WordPress. Content. One is worth every penny! We needed a reliable CMS for our corporate website, and I didn't want to update software constantly. Content. One vs WordPress Lisa L.
